Registration Charity is the one of the preliminary step which is necessary to be taken by any group or organization to start any kind of non-profit organization. For making a Registration Charity there are some formalities which should be done as per as requirement of the concerning authority of that state or country as every country has different rules and regulation to make registration charity.

To register a charity as a registration charity, it must be an association of three or more people and have a constitution which contains a non-profit clause stating that the group or organization must use its income and property purely for the beneficiary of the society and not distribute it among members or pay dividends to members.

To make a charity a registration charity then that organization or group must have purposes to open a charity group which should be defined the law as charitable. The purpose could be relief of financial hardship, arranging the educational facilities in slum and backward areas, by giving aids for diseases like cancer, AIDS and many more, etc that benefit the society. Once the group is registered, registration charity has to follow and obey the number of rules which include regulations covering trustees, finances, accounts and management, financial records must be audited each year. The group those are registered as companies then they have to follow the company law too. Political objectives or to participate in any political lobbying other than in an educational sense is not allowed to any registration charity group or organization.

In today's world Charitable solicitation is taking place outside of the regular meeting place of the charitable organizations. This article does not apply to soliciting through the media but it is intended to protect the people of society from any kind of fraud or coercion. Many fraud telemarketers claim to be a charitable organization, often using names of well-known legitimate charitable solicitations. They will solicit a contribution or try hard to convince to sell products by saying that this money will be used in beneficiary purpose of the society by their charitable solicitation group or organization. These types of frauds groups get quickly activated when any tragedy strikes likes earthquakes, floods, bombings, hurricanes, etc. They can often claim that they are from the police or fire department so that they can create a social pressure to donate, out of fear that you might be deprived of their services in a time of need.
